Samostanska zajednica u Krku svečano je proslavila blagdan sv. Franje Asiškoga, zaštitnika i titulara samostana. Pripremali smo se trodnevnicoma, koju je predvodio i propovijedao mons. Ivan Milovčić, župnik u Vrhu. Na blagdan sv. Franje litrugijska slavlja bila su u 7, 8.30 i svečano u 19 sati. Uz predslavitelja mons. Ivana  Milovčića koncelebrirali su: mons. Franjo Velčić, mons. Andrija Depikolozvane, vlč. Robert Zubović, župnik u Krku, vlč. Vedran Kirinčić, biskupov tajnik, vlč. Luka Paljević, vlč. Zvonimir Dudić, karmalićanin o. Ivan Podgorelec, fratri iz samostana: o. Danijel Mihatov, o. Vlado Rožić, o. Petar Runje, o. Damjan Šešelja, o. Mladen Pejić, te fra Rafael Lukarić iz Martinščice. O. Joso Živković, o. Marko Vrgoč i o. Anto Garić sudjelovali su u slavlju polaganja svečanih zavjeta fra Marka Neretljaka na Ksaveru u Zagrebu. Pjevao je župski zbor iz Krka, a poslužitelji su, uz naše novake fra Juricu, koji je bio ceremonijalista, i fra Daria, bili i trojica biskupijskih bogoslova, ovogodišnji đakoni, te desetorica karmelićanskih novaka.

Ušli smo u drugi mjesec novicijatske godine i život poprima određenije i jasnije smjernice. Podijelili smo zaduženja, dogovorili dnevni, tjedni i mjesečni raspored, aktivno sudjelujemo u molitvenom, liturgijskom i svakodnevnom života samostanske zajednice, prisutni smo u zbivanjima mjesne crkve...

Ostvarili smo dva odlaska u "Duhovnu oazu" na Glavotoku i Portu /svakoga četvrtka namjeravamo boraviti izvan našega samostana u Krku/, duhovno se obnovili u cjelodnevnoj duhovnoj obnovi /svakog prvog petka u mjesecu za novake i cijelu samostansku zajednicu imat ćemo "Cjelodnevnu duhovnu obnovu"/,

na blagdan sv. Mihaela, Grabrijela i Rafaela bili smo na župskom slavlju u Vrhu,

Povodom 40.-te obljetnice smrti Zlatka Šuletnića otvorena je 7. travnja 2011. retrospektivna izložba u Umjetničkom paviljonu u Zagrebu. Nama franjevcima trećoredcima ovo je velika čast jer nam Zlatko Šulentić bio veliki prijatelj te nam je ostavio svoja brojna djela koja su izložena u Umjetničkom paviljonu. Na otvorenju izložbe bili su mnogi uvaženi gosti. Potrebno je zahvaliti fra Boži Rimcu koji je pomogao u organizaciji ove izložbe.
